Dear OISE Students,

The annual OISE Graduate Student Research Conference (GSRC) provides a special opportunity for OISE students to present their research in a familiar and collegial setting, providing valuable experience for future academic and professional careers.

The 2024 OISE GSRC will showcase the quality and depth of OISE students’ academic work for the 24th year. The GSRC is organized for and by OISE students with operating support from the OISE Graduate Students’ Association and the Dean’s Office.

We are looking for at least two students to co-chair the 2024 OISE GSRC. Co-chairs should have experience in organizing conferences to help in coordinating this very special event. Funds have been set aside to pay $2,000 to each co-chair to collaboratively organize the event along with the support and input of the OISE Graduate Students’ Association and OISE Associate Dean, Programs portfolio staff.

Individuals interested in co-chairing together are welcome to submit a joint application. Selection criteria will be based on the qualifications of the candidates and the quality of the concept proposed for the conference.
