The 2025 Master of Teaching Research Conference (MTRC) will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at OISE. This annual event is designed for OISE Master of Teaching (MT) students and the broader MT Community. It features a Welcome & Keynote, Research Paper presentations, the 3-Minute Research Competition, and a Closing Ceremony. All MT students are required to register for the conference, with registration opening in early February. We look forward to welcoming the MT Community as our Year 2 students present their research.

Movement involved:

Students will attend events in the OISE Auditorium (Ground Floor) and in various rooms across OISE (252 Bloor Street W), The Faculty of Social Work (246 Bloor Street W) or UTS (371 Bloor Street W) for the research paper sessions. Year 2 students are invited to attend the closing reception in the OISE Library. Session locations are available on the conference program. If you require accommodations for access to any of the scheduled events, please indicate this on your registration form.

Participation Expectations:

Participants are expected to attend in person and to present at their specified sessions. 

Reserved Seating:

Reserved seating in the OISE Auditorium or OISE Library can be provided upon request.

Details about the materials necessary to present at your session will be provided in a follow-up communication

Please note that all events at the 2024 MT Research Conference will take place in areas where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Therefore, by attending the 2024 MT Research Conference, you hereby authorize the University of Toronto to take your photograph, video and/or record your voice and grant the University all rights to these sounds, still or moving images in any medium for educational, promotional, marketing, advertising, or other such purposes that support the mission of the University. If you do not consent to this, please speak with a CTL Staff member upon your arrival at the conference.
