Dr. Greg Moran & Lauren Hudak - Panel Discussion on HEQCO’s Essential Adult Skills Initiative: Postsecondary Education Learning Outcomes Assessment
With growing expectation and value placed on postsecondary education, it is even more critical now than ever before to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives and programs. A major driving force for students to pursue postsecondary education is to develop knowledge and skills that will help them succeed in both life and work. With all that is at stake, HEQCO created the Essential Adult Skills Initiative. A partnership of over 15 postsecondary colleges and universities, EASI pilots the Education and Skills Online tool to better understand how literacy, numeracy and problem-‐solving changes from when a student enters to when a student leaves their respective institution. We are excited to welcome our expert panel, Dr. Greg Moran and Lauren Hudak who will speak to HEQCO’s collaboration with ֲ colleges and universities to investigate the development and assessment of learning outcomes.
